She is originally from North Andover, Massachusetts, and has lived in New York, NY, Woods Hole, MA and Nashville, TN. Interested in understanding how proteins aggregate during the development of Parkinson’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. Along with being a liaison for the department, she is a member of the Ball Group and is entering her third year working at the Pomona College Women’s Union. Our research centers on the discovery of new drug candidates against tuberculosis and uses the methods of synthetic organic chemistry for drug design. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and Political Science from Barnard College. This use of adjuncts is far below the national average of 52.4% , which could be indicative of Wellesley College's commitment to building a strong, long-term instructional team.
